Well it is almost Christmas and my mind is working over time on new designs. But my husband broke his leg and is in hospital. So my writings may be from time to time. Yet I cannot wait to show you the designs have coming up.

Artist Study

Now I am working on studying different artists and their approach to bead weaving. The first artist I am looking at is Marcia Decoster. She works with two if my favorite stitches herringbone and craw(cubic right angle weave).

I found this pinterest site devoted to Marcia and her work.

Spring is in The Air

This necklace speaks Spring with the daffodils and tulip and other flowers adorning it. It was a joy to make and took almost two weeks. I like the brightness of it. It is a Kosy design.

Hexagon Stitch

I am looking for tutorials for the hexagon stitch and finding very little. I did find one though that looks quite interesting.

A New Necklace

Besides being quite sick with a cold/flu virus I have been busy beading. I created this pretty necklace from Bead and Button subscriber tutorials and I really like how it turned out.

I just created a new tutorial in peyote. It is designed with the latest colors. This color is Strawberry Ice with touches of orange and Marsala.
